Rose Wagner’s P’11 estate-plan gift to support future nursing students

Rose Wagner P’11 did not attend Salve, but her daughter Victoria ’11 is a proud graduate. When it came time to think about her estate, Rose decided to follow the example of her uncle, “an extreme philanthropist,” who left legacy gifts to support scholarships at two different schools, and one of the schools she chose was Salve. Her reasoning? Rose, a retired nurse, wished to support future nurses and “they [Salve] have an excellent nursing program that I have followed since it started.”
